Mrs Richard Harris hosted WSCS at her home. A second batch of apple butter will be made at John and Carrs home Saturday. A rummage bake sale is planned in Logan in November to aid the building fund. Members will meet at Mrs George R Carter s home to decide a comfort item to sell with proceeds for the fund. Rumage collection will be arranged via Mrs Carter or Mrs Lafe Eggleston with storage at the store. Mrs Carter read and Mrs Rhodes served luncheon. Visitors to Mrs Anne North and Loren North s Fort Street home over the weekend included Mr and Mrs Robert North and daughters Suzanne and Melinda from Grosse Isle Michigan.

Sighting In Day Held By LO-HOCK Sportsman Club
The LO-HOCK Sportsman Club hosts a Sighting-In Day on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at their range west of Logan off Frasure Helber Road. NRA affiliated clubs nationwide participate to teach rifle and shotgun sighting and safety. Hunter safety classes run from 1 p.m. with instructors Bob Starner and Bob Johnston. Tri County Student Injured In Forest Field Accident
Meigs County forestry student Russell Paterbaum 19 of Cincinnati was struck by a tree while working in a field on Ball Run Road. He suffered an apparent concussion at 1 52 p m and was taken to Veterans Memorial Hospital by the Pomeroy Emergency Squad where he was admitted in satisfactory condition.
