Homecoming Weekend Schedule Highlights and Oktoberfest Fun

The schedule lists Role Reversal Day Friday 8 a.m. start and Oktoberfest at Behind Bird Ice Arena from 4 p.m. to midnight. Saturday features an Alumni Luncheon 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Convocation Center and the Ohio vs Virginia Tech game at Peden Stadium 1:30 p.m. Oktoberfest continues Saturday 4 p.m. to 1 a.m. Sunday. Oktoberfest continues Sunday 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Old and New Featured In 1972 Ohio Homecoming

Ohio University adds a second Oktoberfest to Homecoming 1972 behind Bird Arena with rides beer German fare and campus booths. The Bobcat mascot marks its 12th anniversary at the upcoming game, continuing a long campus tradition amid a modified Homecoming celebration.

Eight Will Be Inducted Into OU Hall Of Fame

Ohio University will induct eight men to its eighth annual Athletic Hall of Fame at a Homecoming game ceremony. Honorees include Harry Houska the youngest honoree and NCAA champion, plus Bunk Adams Russell Kepler Milton Taylor James Shreffler Ralph White and others. The class brings total inductees to 56 since inception.
