Police say a pistol found on George Rut led to an arrest in the murder case. A car with bloodstains tied to the suspect was recovered as witnesses described a drive by shooting that left Mrs. Nelson injured and her husband dead.

Dana Tom Weakens in hospital on day thirty four after a gunshot injury and third operation for an abscess. he remains in fair condition at Sheltering Arms Hospital.

IRONTON Portsmouth and Ironton police await public sentiment to ease after the slaying of Miss Helen Shannon aged 40. Ralph Fulmer aged 24 of Ironton is held on murder and criminal assault charges and is jailed in Portsmouth for safety. He admitted knocking Shannon to a pavement but denies killing or attacking her and says he was drunk the night of the incident. He was arrested Saturday night.
WOOSTER Ohio. William Ross Weygandt 11 year old nephew of poney Carl V Weygandt of the Supreme Court was accidentally strangled this morning while playing cowboy. Coroner L A Adair said the boy tied the rope to a chair from bed and slipped down, the lariat tightening around his neck.
An Ohio State University senior in the medical college is held after his car struck and killed an unidentified man riding a bicycle east of Columbus. Deputy sheriffs Oscar Kuhl and William Patrick ordered the student detained pending investigation.
New Jersey mayor Herbert Jenkins announced that Joan Crawford and Franchet Tone were married in a quiet Friday ceremony. Tone had long been Crawford's on and offscreen suitor since her divorce from Douglas Fairbanks Jr. The couple planned marriage amid public speculation as Crawford listed her age as 26 and Tone as 30 on the license.

The two injured escaped the brunt by staying near the front shaft. rescuers fear the missing man may be trapped deeper inside.
Mrs Ollie Underwood Kahlbaugh, 34, held on a murder charge linked to a 1931 shooting of Daisy Horn, after being arrested in her Hamilton home and extradited to Irvine Estill County Kentucky. Deputy Henderson said she denied involvement but knew of the crime as police tied a robbery to the killing.
A six year old surgeon was charged today with the slaying one of two women found dismembered in a Scottish ravine. The case, tied to a string of torso killings in England, will be heard October 22. The bodies were recovered in thirty parcels from the ravine known as the devil's beef tub.

A rebuilt aircraft crashed from about 200 feet at Bucyrus airport Sunday night injuring two people. Airport manager Alva Vaughn, 28, suffered nose and ankle fractures, while student pilot Ernest Buehr, 20, sustained a broken wrist. Both were cut severely.
