Young Mother Slashed Along Highway in Apparent Murder Suicide
Hazel Mounts an 18 year old mother of two was found with a knife wound to the throat along a Wheeling highway. Police said the assailant was 23 year old Orland Louis Beeson of Cadiz Pike who later died after leaping from the Terminal Bridge into the Ohio River. Beeson’s body was recovered two hours after a bystander saw him jump. Mounts had separated from her husband and had agreed to a ride with Beeson for reconciliation.
