Mrs Maude Rutherford hosted the Athens Delphian Club with twenty two members and five guests at the Cottage Tea Room The group discussed the Ohio Story book by Frank Siedel tied to a radio program on Ohio State University Radio Station Plans for the 8 mill school levy were reviewed and the annual guest night set for Oct 24 at Mrs C B Nye home to mark the silver anniversary Mrs Dwight Mutchier is president and Mrs Hunter Hope secretary Refreshments were served by the hostess.

OU Bands To Appear Saturday Debut of All-Girl Unit
Ohio University will debut a 32 member all girl marching band at the Saturday game. The group will join the 100 piece band directed by Charles E. Gilbert and perform as a separate unit for features. Lavelle Tripp leads as head majorette with four assistants Grace Felischer Ruth Jones Diane Skarp ski and Jacqueline Plant. Pat Dumford serves as alternate.
