An American Romance and a Wiener Roast in Glouster
Plan Wiener Roast immigrant who is molded into an American in a lifetime of growing ap with industry. Perhaps his sym pathetic understanding of the role is to be found in the fact that he was 10 months old when his Irish mother carried him through the gates of Ellis Island. 4 Woven through the picture is the story of Anna O'Rourke, the Irish girl he found teaching school in an American mining town, the Irish girl who taught him to read and write English, the Lish girl who married him to share his struggles and success, to shape and inspire his aspirations. "An American Ro mance" is, then, their story and 'that of their friends, their children and their grandchildren, all proudly in their heritage as Americans. GLOUSTER-The young people for the Methodist Youth Fellowship organization will have a wiener roast in the social rooms of the Methodist Church this evening at 7 o'clock.
