The body of Wendell L. Willkie will lie in state at the Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church from 2 p.m. today with funeral services scheduled for 3 p.m. tomorrow. The 52 year old former public utility executive died Sunday morning at Lenox Hill Hospital after heart trouble from a throat infection. Burial will be in Rushville Indiana once his son Philip returns from convoy duty. The death prompted wide messages of sympathy and tributes from President Roosevelt Governor Dewey and others.
