P. and W. Va. Authorized to Cut Coal Rates to Ohio
The Interstate Commerce Commission allows the Pittsburgh and West Virginia Railroad to cut coal shipment rates from western Pennsylvania to Ohio points to match reductions in northern Ohio. Hearings were delayed to Oct. 2. the action prompts a broader rate inquiry. The Western Pennsylvania Coal Traffic Bureau supported the move.
