Sex offender charged on failure to verify address

Guysville man Travis James Noble 23 faces a third degree felony for failing to register and verify his address as a Tier II Sex Offender. He is to appear for a pretrial hearing in Athens County Court with Judge George McCarthy. Noble was released in 2015 after a prior gross sexual imposition conviction involving an 8-year-old boy in 2017. He was ordered to register every 180 days and verify address with the sheriff for 25 years. He received warrants for failure to appear and was released on his own recognizance with conditions. He may face up to five years in prison and a $10,000 fine. He remains under five years postrelease control.
