M. Desclos, a French educator, argues that French schooling emphasizes culture and clear thinking over early specialization. He notes education in France as open and accessible, with culture treated almost as a religion influencing school life. Desclos will discuss Paris as a center of art in a 7:30 talk at Fine Arts Hall on campus.
