A low pressure system moved into Ohio Thursday night bringing snow in the north and rain in the south. Light freezing rain occurred between zones with additional snow expected in the far north. Cold, dry weather follows Saturday with temperatures ranging from 28 to 49 across the state.
Lenexa volunteers woke eight times Wednesday night to false alarms as cold weather chilled the town.
