Vernon Burkhardt of Barnesville Ohio Belmont County was indicted by a federal grand jury on three counts of income tax evasion for 1953 1954 and 1955. The government says he owes about $20 662 in taxes and that his reported income was 17 697 with 4 723 paid. The government contends income was 79 129 and taxes owed 25 385.
