A historic barn near Point Pleasant burned Sunday afternoon, likely from spontaneous combustion. Owned by Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Toney, the 1832 structure held 8000 bales of hay and 1000 bushels of corn. Firefighters battled for six hours and stayed overnight, saving other buildings and cattle stock, with 4000–16000 gallons used from booster tanks.

Water Line Loan Gets Approval
