Logan two area men John Smyers and Robert Mc Nichols are charged with failure to provide in county court. They were arrested by the Sheriff’s office Saturday on warrants issued by County Court.

State Highway Patrol investigated two crashes Sunday in Hocking County injuring five people. Injured were Marion Sexton and family members including Margarita Sexton. Franklin Dennis suffered a sprained hand. Sexton cited for failing to yield right of way. Also involved Nancy Lambert and Chauncy Lambert in a separate Route 93 crash. Additional pre crash investigations occurred on Route 33 north of Nelsonville and north of the Athens Hocking county line.
Two drivers on Kline Road near Walnut Street avoided an animal crossing the road and crashed. William J. Roach age 16 and Marty E. Adcock age 16, both from Logan, skidded and hit trees. Damages were estimated at 250 dollars with no injuries.

Logan City police reported a minor two car accident at 4 36 p m Sunday at the intersection of Front St and Homer Ave. Paul Daugherty 62 Mansfield attempted to pass John M Gears 45 Nelsonville as Gears turned left. Daugherty cited to appear in Mayors Court Monday on improper passing and posted 20 dollar bond.
