Morgan Stock Wiped Out In Toledo Deal
In Toledo on May 29 the Toledo Railway and Terminal company sold under federal court order to bondholders chairman Andrew J. Sullivan for 2 million dollars, wiping out Morgan stock worth about 3.6 million with no outside bids. The road, a belt line around Toledo with a central passenger and freight station, may be sold or leased to steam roads on a cooperative basis. Sullivan warned Morgan could buy the road for 3.8 million to reimburse bondholders.
