Doanville Youth Hurt In Crash At Buchtel
Nelsonville Ohio Wednesday night three vehicle accident at Buchtel involves 17 year old Doanville rider Thomas B Hamilton on a headlightless motorcycle. He was cited for no headlights and no operator license and taken to Mount St. Mary Hospital with a hip fracture and abdominal lacerations after colliding with a car driven by Bobby Smathers 22 of Buchtel which turned left into his path and a parked car owned by James Wallace of Nelsonville.

Phillip K. Simms, 29, of Nelsonville Route 2, was cited for failure to yield after a two car crash on State Route 278 near Allen Lumber Co. at about 3:15 p.m. Tuesday. His 1953 sedan pulled into the eastbound 1961 pickup driven by William Howard Humphrey, 44, of Glouster Route 3, causing heavy damage. Simms ordered to appear at 7:30 p.m. June 5 in Nelsonville Mayor Court.
