In Nelsonville the American Legion Veterans of Foreign Wars and Spanish American War Veterans plan a two day Memorial Day program. On Sunday May 28 services are at Connett Cemetery 1 30 p m and Asbury Church Cemetery 2 p m with a 1 pm assembly at the Legion Building. Tuesday May 30 the parade to Fort Street Cemetery starts 9 45 am after 9 30 am assembly at the Legion Building with services at Green Lawn Cemetery and Legion Plot and a final address by Reverend Father Kelley followed by Taps. Veterans with cars should park on East Washington Street and troop leaders for Boy Scout traffic duty are to contact Commander Mulligan.
