Eldon Dale Mahaffey age 29 of 92 Shafer Street was killed instantly at 10 55 PM Wednesday when struck by an eastbound freight on the B and O line near the Grosvenor Crossing trestle. The engineer reported seeing a white object on the track, later identified as Mahaffey’s undershirt.
