Death Ruled Homicide in Lake Erie Waterfront Shooting
Sandusky coroner Har rison W Pratt ruled the death of Willard Zeller a homicide. Zeller 30 was found dead in his brown sedan on the Lake Erie waterfront with a bullet wound to the face. A .25 caliber shell lay on the rear seat and the taxicab driver who found him noted the radio was playing while ignition was off. There was no sign of a struggle and the victim’s $10 billfold remained. The shooting occurred shortly after midnight.
