Beedeville Truck Growers Plan Big Season in Meigs County
Pomeroy May 18 The Beedeville Truck Growers association has forty five members growing early truck crops for eastern markets. County Agent George B Kreitler notes Marry Pickens, Reedaville, likely has the largest acreage with about 10 000 tomato plants. Other members grow 1000 to 6000 plants each as farmers in the broad bottom land between Long om and Reedaville experiment with truck farming this year.
