Nelsonville man Steven B. Woods, 75, is charged with a single count of felonious assault after his wife Sylvia Woods, 69, was shot at 801 Doolittle Road and hospitalized in critical but stable condition. Investigators say the shooting may not have been accidental and Woods was arrested after a mental health evaluation.
