In Athens County Court George Wallace Misner admitted striking his wife with a kettle and was jailed on his 50th birthday after failing to pay a $25 fine. His wife Anna filed the charge. In Municipal Court Louis Thompson denied threatening his wife Cecile with death and was held on $50 bond as the case continues.
