Coon Slayers Wife Found Dead After Drugstore Shooting
In Columbus a woman, Virginia Jemison, wife of Richard Jemison charged with first degree murder, was found shot to death at her home. Police had hunted Richard after two men were wounded in a downtown drug store shooting at Broad and High Streets Monday. The victim worked at Gray's Drugs for 15 years and was discharged two months ago. The store was crowded during lunch hour when manager John Lyman and district manager Robert Ayler were shot.
