Hetzel May Run Again for Pomeroy Mayor
William Hetzel, a former village council member known for fighting power utility rates, hints at entering the mayoral race on the Republican ticket. Two candidates have filed petitions Clyde Tyree for constable and Edison Hobstetter for village clerk, with clerk seen as the town’s plum job. The potential salary gap versus the mayor and possible salary cuts worry candidates.
