Parlor Car Wrecked in Union Street Collision
The Hocking Valley parlor car Olan tangy was badly wrecked Monday afternoon when a K M freight car broke loose during yard switching and struck it at the Union street crossing. One car was mashed and knocked off the front tracks. The car was repaired and moved to Columbus on the 4:05 Hocking.

Death of Miss Fannie Harrison in Belpre
Miss Fannie Harrison died at her home Belpre Sunday afternoon after a brief illness with congestion of the brain. She was the niece of Mrs. Henry O Bleness of this city and was remembered by Attens residents from several visits here. A beautiful girl, she was engaged to a medical student finishing his course this year. The funeral occurs at Belpre today, attended by the O Bleness family of this city.

Milroy Tittle Acquitted In Shooting Case In Ohio
The term produced little business with only one criminal case, Milroy Tittle, arraigned for shooting with intent to kill. After eleven witnesses, the jury found him not guilty and he was discharged. Death of T. W. Woodyard in Alexander township
Travis W. Woodyard aged fifty six died Tuesday at his home three miles east of Albany in Alexander township from heart and liver trouble linked to a past horse accident. He served in the civil war with the 4th Virginia cavalry and was a farmer by trade. Funeral services will be held today at his late home. He leaves a wife two daughters Mrs Lillie Teaksbury and Mrs Ele Dean of Athens and is survived by his brother Mr J C Woodyard of this city.

Obituary of Samuel M Lefever Soldier Carpenter
Samuel M Lefever died suddenly of apoplexy at fifty eight years nine months after suffering sunstroke from Gettysburg days. He served three years in the th O V I and fought in major Civil War battles. A carpenter by trade, he left a wife and three children. The funeral, Sunday, was under the Alasonic lodge and G A R, with sermon by Reverend Tedrick, burial at Carey cemetery.

Returned from Cuba with Army Surgeon and Wife
Mrs G L Cable and her husband Dr Cable a surgeon in the United States army, returned from Cienfuegim Cuba after wintering there. They faced delays totaling two weeks and traveled via Sedgwich transport with other officers wives.
