Nelsonville mayor presses for lifting building freeze aid
Mayor Donald Bumgardner urged city council to help remove the building freeze order to push sewer and water projects worth about 5 million dollars. He cited state health board actions affecting Tri County and Hocking Technical College while noting sewerage flows into the city plant. Council debated salaries, street and right of way actions, and a potential oil or gas drill near the waterworks site.
