May term grand jury in Mason County Circuit Court returned four felony indictments and eight misdemeanor indictments at 5 30 p m Tuesday Indicted for felonies were Cecil Junior Smith for burglary to the home of James Finlay and theft valued at 146 Cora Lee Lawson for homicide in the death of Phillip Carter last March Lewis R Leach Jr and Harry D Bartles for breaking and entering and theft of 7 pounds of powder and primer cord valued at over 50 from American Cyanamid Corp Misdemeanors included Robert Edwards trespassing Beatrice Stanley contributing to delinquency of a minor George Bates two counts of contributing Harvey Steele negligent homicide in the April highway death of Carl Gillispie Gladys Smith contributing James Walter Pete Duncan contributing Roger Reynolds trespassing The jurors were Ferris Justis foreman Archie R Henry Mrs Robert Powers Billy F King W W Brown Lethia Belle Bungarner Leo Johnson John Cooper Lawrence Mohr Byron Greenlee Jr William H Potts Mrs Ada Bennett and four alternates Greta Allen Alice Barr Patricia Patterson and Faye Cook
