Four Golden Horseshoe winners to be honored in Charleston
Four Mason County Golden Horseshoe winners Barry Casto Joshua Deweese Robert Doeffinger and Lindala Telle will join 226 eighth grade winners in Charleston on Friday. They earned top scores on state history and geography tests and will be knighted in the House of Delegates chamber by the state superintendent. An all day program includes tours of the Capitol a talk by Gov Barron lunch on the Rhododendron riverboat and a 2 15 p.m. ceremony.
