Three people died when a tractor trailer crashed into a stalled car on U S 23 four miles south of Circleville. Victims were truck driver James E. Cones 45 of Franklin Virginia and two occupants Charles Peyton 24 and Roxie Baker 65 both of Mallory West Virginia. Ralph Baker 23 of Davin West Virginia escaped with minor injuries while flagging down the truck.
