Between 09 and 909 patients as well as a large number of visitors heard the concert given by the Athens high school band at the Athens State hospital yesterday afternoon. Washington May 2 The UPA White House appeal for funds to aid Mississippi flood refugees followed talks between President Coolidge and Secretary Hoover who has returned from the inundated zone. News from Point Pleasant and Gallipolis report the General Contracting company of Pittsburgh winning the bid to build a twidge linking Point Pleasant and Wanauga. Construction to start immediately with offices open in Point Micasant. George F. Wolfe aided planning as surveys show both bridges viable and profitable.
