President E B Bryan backed abolishing the athletic advisory board, granting the department toll power over its affairs without outside intervention. A C grade scholastic standard is required for men students, and a constitutional amendment ratified by a student vote formalizes the changes with faculty representation for conventions. In Ohio, the move follows a broader policy shift and the Men’s Union ratified by vote. In Tipton Eng a husband’s action tied to his wife’s hair underscores social headlines nearby.
