OU Orbit 5K Raises Over 700 for Museum of Discovery
Ohio University science education students held the OU Orbit 5K on Sunday raising more than 700 dollars for the Ohio Valley Museum of Discovery. Advisor Dr. Sami Kahn said the group aims to serve the community with a space themed race and donated cards and signs highlighting the solar system.

Worker killed as steel beam crushes at Delaware County site
A 34 year old Columbus man was killed Thursday when a steel beam weighing at least a ton fell on him during I beam installation at 1694 Wrenbury Drive Cheshire Woods subdivision near Tanger Outlet Mall. The incident occurred about 12 15 p m as a crane hoisted beams above the completed basement. Deputy Chief Kevin Kline BST G fire said the builder Trinity Homes declined to comment.
