Later Corn Planting Is Being Urged
In Hocking County last year corn borers caused severe damage. Planting later is advised as moths fly around June 10 to 15. Southern Ohio should plant about two weeks after the usual time. Use resistant hybrids and up to five kernels per hill on good soil to reduce borers and boost stalks.

Divorce Suit Filed In Hacking Court
LOGAW A divorce suit has been brought against William F Richards by his wife Anna G Richards charging him with extreme cruelty. Mrs Richards asks a temporary restraining order to prevent disposal of personal property. The restraining order was granted by the court. All their children are self supporting.
