Columbus Hospital officials study Meigs Memorial problems in Meigs County
Four representatives from the Columbus Hospital Federation visited Meigs County to evaluate ongoing disputes at Meigs Memorial Hospital. They met with the hospital medical society, board of trustees, and county officials as the Meigs County Hospital Commission’s lawsuit against the Meigs Memorial Hospital Board remains in court. A judge earlier ordered surrender of hospital facilities following a staff-osteopathic dispute. The case now sits in the Court of Appeals awaiting decision. Gov Breathitt plans Ohio Michigan Illinois tour to spur Kentucky job growth.
