Council Refers Rezoning Case To City Commission
City council sent a list of zoning suggestions involving Cliff's Super Market at 284 E State St to the city planning commission. A city official said the case could be referred to the zoning board of appeals after a public hearing. The March 16 vote denied the planning commission’s rezoning recommendation for two lots east of the store. The panel previously discussed using the lots for parking and the board could grant a variance for parking only after a hearing.
