Obituary of Christopher Watking in Athens County
Christopher Watking born August 10 1823 in Guernsey county Ohio. He moved to Athens county with his parents at age four and lived there most of his life. He married Mary Carson in 1819 and after her death in 1892 remarried to Mrs Anna Secoy. He was a church steward for 20 years and died after years of suffering, remembered as a kind husband and father. funeral held at Chapel with many attendees paying respects.
