Athens Ohio approves 1968 Project Ohio R43 loan issue
Athens City Council adopts emergency ordinance to borrow 1.12 million dollars for a Project Ohio R-43 slum clearance and urban redevelopment program funded by a United States Housing Act of 1949 loan. It authorizes sale of New Preliminary Loan Notes at 2.97 percent to Continental Illinois National Bank and others, with payment through HUD under a Requisition Agreement No. 3 dated March 19, 1968.
