Ohio River Rising Near Apple Grove in Flood Watch

At midnight the Ohio River rose past U S Dam 23 at Apple Grove with water levels increasing about one tenth of a foot every four hours. Pomeroy officials claim streets will stay dry as a slight fall downstream reduces pressure while Route 124 and Route 248 remain closed or limited by high water.
