Frank Oiler, 32, sought for armed robbery and shooting, was captured Thursday in Corning after a gun confrontation with Corning Marshal Frank Wycinski. Oiler had stolen a Chauncey cruiser Tuesday night, fired at Marshal Walker, and fled through hills and towns before surrendering on a side street. He faces charges and is wanted in Wellsburg West Virginia for auto theft and resisting arrest.
