Defendants include Raymond Tite Lloyd Rupe Robert Burns Lando Clags for shooting with intent and unlawful firearms, Charles Saxcon Kenneth Perkins for fraud, T M Gilienwater for destruction of property, Jean G Buszard for petit larceny, Thomas Springer for assault, Cecil Mente for check forgery, Nettie Swisher for trespassing and more. Also named are William Henry Burnette Sherman Juton Robert Grimes Eugene Robinson and Horace Keys in various larceny burglary and non-support matters. Three Gallipolis men James Cousins Bob Anderson and George Burns were fined $5 plus costs for intoxication. Edward Thompson of Vinton forfeited a $15 bond.

Wallipolis patrol checked 42 trucks at a new weighing station in Kananga and issued three overload arrests. James William Harris of Beaumont WV was fined 94 dollars and costs for overloading. Hassell Shropshire of Winston-Salem NC was fined 25 dollars and costs. Julian Gorsley also 25 dollars and costs for overload. Russell Thomas Byus of Point Pleasant Route 2 was fined 20 dollars and costs for driving on the wrong side of the road.

Gladys Bovie and Miss Mayme Bartrows have leased Southwood Inn at 259 Norway Avenue Huntington and will keep their home at 413 Second Avenue where they spent the weekend.

Two Men Fined On Patrol Charges In Ohio District
ALLIPOLIS Ohio Max Eliott 31 of Allipolis was fined 10 dollars in municipal court Tuesday on State Highway Patrol speeding charges. William Moore 44 of Dayton was arrested on non support and driving without a license charges. He was fined 85 dollars and coats by Mayor Phillip E. Wilams. Authorities say he was returned to Kentucky.

Pediatrician Named to Holzer Hospital Staff in Gallipolis
Dr Franklin Schaefer, MD, will join Holzer Hospital and clinic on July 15 as the first full time pediatrician in the hospital’s history. He will head the new pediatrics department serving birth to about 14 years, handle diagnoses and treatment plans, and report findings to family physicians.
