Girl, 12, Found Dead in Rock Island Home
Karen Johnson, 12, daughter of Mr and Mrs Carl Johnson of 497 West Second Street, was found dead in her bed early today. Officials said the cause of death is not yet known and an autopsy will be conducted. The body was taken to Leonard Funeral Home. Also, all locks and dams on the Mississippi River between Minneapolis and St Louis were closed to the public Friday as a security measure.
