Athens Native John Schriner Displays Street Art in NYC

Ijo Joins Kulchar as New Dual Purpose Canine Deputy

Athens County Sheriff’s Office introduces Dutch Shepherd Ijo as partner to Deputy Johan Kulchar, replacing Ryder who died in a house fire. Ijo, turning two, trained since May 4, joins the force from the same kennel, bringing strong work ethic and narcotics detection capabilities. The duo began duty on June 15 after a six week training period.

Inaugural STEAM Camp Sparks Local Interest in Athens
