Ohio's legislature aims to finish action on a $731 million transportation department budget today before adjourning for a July 4 holiday through July 8. Gov. Rhodes' partial veto of the main budget will not trigger immediate financial strain, according to Budget Director Howard Col lier. The two-year book keeping period ends Monday and the new document must become law by midnight to allow bill payments.
