Water shortage dominates village as citizens seek relief
Residents scramble for scarce water with cisterns and wells drained. The Wading pool becomes a hub for children while men fetch river water for evening showers. The Karrs host a water canteen at the Village hall aided by Rich Valley Dairy and Mrs. Wise Jr. deliveries. Citizens line up at Texaco bulk station and water workers tirelessly repair the line to restore supply.
