Segway MiniPro weathers LA streets like a ski run
A reporter tests Segway’s MiniPro hoverboard in Los Angeles finding it easy to balance and ride after a brief learning period. It navigates sidewalks, hills, and cracks with a 14 mile range, while city rules and safety concerns shape where one can ride. Public spaces and campus security appear untroubled outdoors, though regulations and fire risks shadow the device’s rollout.
