Washington June 19 AP The treasury on June 17 reports receipts 71.21 million dollars and expenditures 167.20 million with a balance near 1.87 billion. Fiscal year receipts total 3.63 billion and outlays about 7.00 billion, debt stands at 28.672 billion with gold assets over 9.08 billion. Boston wool prices firmed on stronger demand, with Ohio fleeces selling up to 30 to 31 cents per pound in the grease and related grades rising.

Livestock market figures show cattle and calves steady with fat cows up to 6.00. Pigs and packing sows range from 6.50 to 9.70 with loads bidding around 9.00. Sheep and spring lambs largely 50 lower than Tuesday, with good consignments 6.25 to 7.46 and lightweights down to 5.00. Hog demand steady with direct sale 170 to 230 pounds at about 10.10 to 9.95, other weights 9.56 to 10.28 for 130 to 140 pounds. Cattle direct sales include 190 head, dry fed steers 10.00 to 11.75, grass heifers 6.25 down, vealers about 8.50.

Athens County officials sought Frank Tabler, colored, of Broadwell, for slashing his wife with a razor during a family quarrel Tuesday night. Sheriff Charles W. Stratton said Mrs Tabler was cut on the arm and side and Tabler had vanished when the sheriff arrived.
