Hillbilly Talent Show Canceled by Kiwanis at Glouster
Public interest in the Fourth of July event was too low, so the Kiwanis Club canceled the hillbilly amateur talent portion. A radio show from a Wheeling station will replace it, followed by fireworks. We note discussion on Burr Oak Lake motor limits and traffic planning by Harry Boylin, newly appointed lake manager, at the Kiwanis dinner.
