Rev. William H. Perrin plans to mail letters to 500 churches urging rejection of the Black Manifesto demands. He says his Trinity United Church of Christ has wide congregational support and would resign if his church favors the manifesto. Perrin warns defrocking is possible if his church accepts the plan.
