Goat Run Road Bridge Opens After Completion
Hocking County road crew plans to open Goat Run Road Thursday after finishing a new bridge about one-quarter mile south of Route 93. A West Virginia truck driver damaged a county bridge on the Nickel Plate Road at Falls Two Road 67, tearing out half the slab and bending a guardrail. County engineer Clyde Underwood said repairs will take about two weeks and the bridge remains usable in one lane for autos but not trucks.
