One hundred youngsters from the city enrolled in Vacation Bible School opening yesterday at three churches First Methodist Presbyterian and First Christian announced by acting chairman Mrs M T Vermillion. Classifications and times detailed with worship Bible study crafts recreation music and drama daily 9 am to 12 noon Monday through Friday. Evening session at 7 pm June 25 closing. public invited.
Twenty six Albany Grange officers and members were entertained by Green Valley Grange in Vinton County on June 11 as the Albany Degree Team conferred the Third and Fourth Degrees. An Officers Drill preceded the degree work with Grange Master Frank Pugh presiding. The event was followed by community notices about the McDaniel Reunion and local rose-growing hobbyists in Athens.

Both families are connected to Ohio State University alumni and local residents with ties to Carbondale and New Marshfield Road.

John Finsterwald and Bob Kern of Ohio University ROTC leave today for a six week ROTC Summer Camp at Camp Lee Virginia. William Reeder, another OU student from the city, accompanies them to New York City for a four day visit before the course.
